Insight Magazine – A standing-room-only audience attended the first-ever event sponsored by the Wisconsin Internet of Things Council. It was held Tuesday morning at the Blue Harbor Conference Center in Sheboygan.
The event, entitled “Challenges and Opportunities: Internet of Things in Wisconsin and the Midwest,” formally spelled out the organization’s vision to Wisconsin manufacturers.
The IoT Council is a professional membership-driven organization that promotes Wisconsin and the Midwest as the epicenter for the internet of things and drives technological advancement in the region by providing the WIoT and its members with a forum and environment conducive for networking, relationship building, talent attraction and mutual exchange of information relative to IoT.
Jeremy Udovich, Wisconsin IoT Council chair, laid out plans for the organization, which is operating under the umbrella of the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corp. and within the county’s Fresh Tech Innovation District.
